Shrink-wrappedDescription
Into The Labyrinth (1993) is Dead Can Dances sixth album, one of their most successful releases, its title a reference to the Greek legend of Theseus going into the Labyrinth to slay the Minotaur. It came when Brendan Perry and Lisa Gerrard had embarked on more individual personal paths, now writing their songs independent of one another, and on separate continents. Engineered and produced by Brendan at his Quivvy Church studio in Ireland, the album is an audiophile benchmark and also noted for being their first without any guests, instead they played all the instruments. The 2016 LP version is also a double LP like the original release, but comes with brand new artwork and a changed track ordering.2. Labyrinth [LP]

A true original, the Bakersfield, CA singer, songwriter, composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist indelibly impacts millions as frontman for alt-metal/rock game-changers KoRnwhose accolades encompass two GRAMMY Award wins, worldwide sales of 40 million-plus, and countless sold out shows in nearly every corner of the globe. Throughout over 20 years in music, his presence coursed through the film scores, contributions to popular video game franchises, and official remixes for the likes of Steve Aoki and more. Along the way, he lent his voice to tracks for everyone from Linkin Park to Tech N9ne. However, 2018 sees him doing something he has yet to do: release his first solo album. Writing and recording on the road, he played guitar, keys, and anything else he could get his hands on. Moreover, the music was primarily record live. Led by the single What It Is, it continues a tradition by boldly treading new territory. Ive always got to be different, he leaves off. Once again, Im doing something I havent heard before. This is my swan song. Its my fucking masterpiece up to this point.4. Midnight In The Labyrinth

SAXON Into The Labyrinth (2017 VINYL - UK limited edition 13-track Picture Disc LP issue of their 2009 album including Live To Rock and Coming Home [Bottleneck Version] housed in the custom-embroidered clear PVC sleeve. AC/DC aren't the only dinosaurs keeping their metal legacy alive - these leathery codgers get dark and threatening in "Slow Lane Blues" and "Protect Yourselves," while another blue-collar beer belch, "Live to Rock," boots open like Van Halen's " Panama." "Demon Sweeney Todd" is a Brits-in-blue-jeans speedball, and the album ends with a thickly grooving bottleneck boogie vamp. There are even a few brief semiclassic interludes to make up for the occasional slog. If not quite up there with Saxon's early '80s power-and-glory peaks, this is still worth an iron-horse ride down a dangerous highway.7. Return to Heaven Denied
