How We Did It?
We made a few 3D-printed designs and several pro-toe-types (LOL)
Once we were happy, we vacuum casted in a number of different materials to find the best one for the job.
Our goals were accomplished when we found a type of rubber that gave these protectors a great mix of durability, strength, and aesthetics. All the while remaining gentle on delicate floors.
After a few small tweaks and iterations, we moved forward to full production and now have a great result!
