The RS Chimney Fan from Enervex is specifically designed for applications where efficient operation, low noise level, low energy consumption, variable speed and compact design are of utmost importance. It should be installed at the termination point of the chimney or stack system and can be mounted on masonry or metal chimneys. Although this fan is typically mounted vertically, it may be sidewall vented as well. The RS Chimney Fan assures a negative pressure is maintained in the entire chimney or stack system during operation as the fan discharges at a high velocity. The fan is compact, and barely visible from the ground. However, the fan may be recessed or hidden behind a chimney top enclosure such as copper caps, shrouds, cupolas etc. The fan is hinged and the top can be opened for easy service and access to the chimney flue and fan blades. The housing is made of 3/16" thick - cast aluminum and finished with one coat of gray hammer paint for added corrosion resistance. The fan blades are stainless steel, dynamically and statically balanced to assure low noise level and operate vibration-free. The motor is a split capacitor, totally enclosed, Class "H" insulated and in the IP54 Protection Class. The RSHT motor also features sealed ball bearing, variable speed control and thermal overload protection. The RS Chimney Fan is for use where flue gas temperatures do not exceed 575 degrees F for intermittent operation, and 482 degrees F for continuous operation. How is working?
The stove fan generates its own power by the heat from the stovepipe. The fan uses thermoelectric technology to convert a temperature difference into electricity. At the center section of the fan base is a unique thermoelectric module. The module change the heat into the electricity.
How to use?
Fixed the stove fan on chimney pipe(Diameter about 180mm-200mm) with stainless steel pipe clamp.The hotter the stovepipe surface is, the more air the fan circulates.
Attention:
Recommended surface temperature is between 185F - 660F (85C - 350C). Temperatures above this range may damage the fan and the electricity generating units and invalidate your warranty.
