NO NEED for Solar Power nor House AC power -- the ADOR1 typically runs at least 2 years on a cheap 6 volt battery. The infra-red daylight sensor data is processed by an algorithm to determine sunrise and sunset times that can be adjusted by the user. Manual over-ride and LED status indication are provided on the front panel. A buzzer also annunciates codes for status indication. One year warranty and great phone or text or email customer service.
